CONSIDERATIONS TO KNOW ABOUT BAREFOOT SHOES KIDS

New to barefoot shoes. We are in Montana where it will get to -20 or reduce. Any suggestions on boots? Am I appropriate in pondering you would require the thick boot to protect from the extreme chilly? Seek out boots with a wide toe box maybe?
